Blue Recycled Glass Lamp with Handmade Linen Shade

This large table lamp brings soft ambient light and a clear blue presence to a living room or hallway, built around a recycled glass carboy base and a handmade linen shade. The bottle-shaped base is formed from recycled Spanish glass in a deep blue tone, with natural Portuguese cork at the neck and solid brass fittings. Wiring runs through the glass so the cord exits near the base. Each lamp is made to order in the UK, where it is wired, assembled and tested. The shade is handmade in the UK from 100% French linen, curated by Bisous Bisous. Standing about half a metre at the base with a wider linen shade, the lamp sits comfortably on a sideboard, console or substantial side table and pairs well with natural woods, linen upholstery and simple ceramics.
