A classic wishbone chair with a white frame and hand-woven paper cord seat, ready for the dining table or a quiet corner. Designed by Hans J. Wegner, it takes its popular name from the Y-shaped backrest that gives both support and a distinctive silhouette.

The curved top rail flows into open arms, while the forked back splat sits cleanly against the pale finish. The seat is woven from paper cord, a dense, textured surface with a natural beige tone that softens the white timber lines. More than 100 steps go into making one chair, and the seat alone uses over 120 metres of cord.

This piece is ex-display. It suits a pale kitchen, a hallway nook, or paired with timber and linen at the table. The open back keeps the room feeling light even when the chair is in daily use.
