An original French chromolithograph titled Le Dimanche Sanctifié brings layered religious narrative and period colour to a wall, ready to hang as a framed antique print.

Numbered 33 at the head, the sheet shows two main scenes under medallions of St Éloi and St Hugues. Above, a crowd gathers on the steps of a stone church; below, an angel bearing sheaves and grapes flies over a rural Sunday of family rest, reading and play, with the words Le Jour du Seigneur. French captions and a Paris imprint from Librairie Saint-Joseph (Tolra) run along the foot. The paper has the warm tone and soft wear of age, including original torn edges that the mount leaves visible.

It is museum framed in a handcrafted wooden frame with clear grain, floated on a cream mount and glazed with premium non-reflective glass so the detail stays sharp. The piece sits well in a study, hallway or living room beside other vintage finds. Available for in-store collection only; get in touch to discuss delivery.
