Ellipse Red Geometric Lampshade

A compact cylinder lampshade that puts a bold graphic print at the centre of a bedside or desk lamp. Designed by Rebecca McCormack-Haigh and hand screen-printed in Glasgow at Print Clan onto re-used beige cotton, it carries a dense geometric repeat of half-circles and ovals in red, yellow and soft neutrals.

The drum form is a neat scale for smaller bases and side tables. The cotton has a clear woven texture that softens the graphic, while the open top and bottom let light fall cleanly upward and downward.

Pair it with a plain wooden or ceramic base so the intricate repeat stays the focus. The warm red ground and bright yellow accents sit well beside mid-century furniture, deep green or teal walls, and other patterned textiles.
