Dazzle Screen Printed Lampshade

A compact cylinder lampshade that brings a bold geometric print to a bedside or desk lamp without overwhelming a small base. The Dazzle screen printed lampshade by Rebecca McCormack-Haigh is hand printed in Glasgow at Print Clan onto re-used beige cotton, then finished in the artist’s studio. Deep green ink forms a dense pattern of checks, triangles and stepped bands against the natural cloth, so the surface reads graphic up close and softly textured from across the room.

At 18 cm high and 20 cm in diameter the shade suits smaller wooden or ceramic bases. Light travels cleanly upward and downward through the open cylinder, keeping the focus on the print rather than a diffused glow. Pair it with plain timber, stoneware or a simple metal stem so the green-and-cream geometry stays the main event on a side table or narrow shelf.
